We’re delighted to announce further growth with the appointment of associate, Chris Wright, who has joined our Southampton valuations team.
He’s an avid Oasis fan, and ‘some might say’ (sorry!) he’s also a bit of a property valuations expert too!
Chris joins us from Lambert Smith Hampton where he spent three years.
So ‘what’s the story’ on Chris?
We spoke to him to find out a bit more about him and why he chose to join the firm.
What do you specialise in?
I specialise in commercial property valuations. Before I was at Lambert Smith Hampton, I worked for Edward Symmons LLP for seven years, where I specialised in property valuations and assisted LPA Receivers.
What attracted you to your new post at Vail Williams?
I knew that Vail Williams had a strong local reputation in the commercial property market, so this was very much a company that I wanted to work for.
What are your ambitions in the role?
I want to help further enhance the company’s position in the local/regional market, through the work that I’ll do with clients in the future.
What’s the best thing about working in property, and why?
Most days are different with varying challenges to deal with. It’s also great that you’re not stuck behind a desk as you are regularly out on inspections or at meetings with clients.
What’s your favourite band?
I love the band, Oasis. They’ve had a long career, and it’s great to still be able to enjoy new material from them.
If you could work in any other profession, what would it be and why?
I think I’d want to be a professional sportsman as it would force me to try and keep fit!
