–––Russell is the Regional Managing Partner for the South Coast Region. With some 20 years of experience, he leads our offices in Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth, whilst specialising in providing investment brokerage and consultancy services to a mixture of private investors, property companies and local authorities.
He is an RICS Registered Valuer, Registered Property Receiver and current Chair of NARA (the Administration of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers) providing LPA and strategic asset management services for high street and secondary lenders.
He qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2005 having graduated from Portsmouth University with a First in Property Development and went on to become an LLP Member of Vail Williams in 2018.
Experience
- Advised BAE Systems on the disposal of their Broadoak Complex in Portsmouth by way of a sale and leaseback for £28M
- Acquired a £13M prime retail park investment for a local authority in Hampshire
- Arranged the multi-million pound sale and leaseback of multiple convenience stores for Southern Cooperative Limited
- Has realised over £250M of residential and commercial property assets as LPA Receiver
- Provided development viability advice on a £30M Build-to-Rent scheme
Russell has two almost teenage children and a middle-aged Springer Spaniel called Max! He is a keen road cyclist so long as the weather is ‘just right’ and a long-suffering supporter of Southampton Football Club – aka the Saints.
