A key requirement of a property valuation is that you have to inspect the building in question. Since the implementation of stringent measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, surveying and valuing properties in person has become more challenging, but not impossible.
Adhering to the latest Government social distancing guidance, we are able to carry out site visits to review vacant buildings as well as carry out the external assessment of a building without coming into contact with people.
With this in mind, don’t let COVID-19 prevent you from commissioning any property valuations that you may need.
How long will the report take?
Typically, from the date someone visits a site, it can take up to two weeks to prepare and finalise a property valuation report.
As we navigate social distancing requirements, it is possible that this may take a little longer in the current climate.
However, we will continue to work with you in the usual way to complete your property valuations despite COVID-19, carrying out site visits of vacant buildings or building exteriors, and pulling together the necessary background research, market insight and comparable evidence to inform the final report.
So, don’t let COVID-19 put the brakes on your property valuation needs. If you have a requirement for a property valuation don’t hesitate to contact us.
